Event Details

  • Location: North Brunswick, NJ - Brunswick Social Club
  • Date: May 16th, 2026
  • Main Event Time: 10 AM - 5 PM
  • Additional Features: We will host a welcome party on Friday, May 15th near the event, as well as an afterparty on Saturday, May 16th after the event. Location details TBA for these additional events.
  • Hotel Block: Attendees are responsible for their own lodging and can get discounted hotel prices through our hotel block.

Fans will enjoy rare, intimate access to an all-star lineup of comic book talent, including special guest artists OthalaM, Keith Garvey, and Joe Pekar. They’ll be joined by Space Between Entertainment writers and creators Pat Shand, Ralph Tedesco, Dave Franchini, Chris Moses, and Amy Shand.

FEATURED GUEST: OthalaM

Based in Northern Italy, OthalaM started drawing as a young girl, playing with graphite, colored pencils and watercolours, but in her early twenties she abandoned the traditional medium in favour of a small drawing tablet, gifted to her by a clueless parent.

She’s been making digital art ever since. Now, when not busy with her boring day job that she can’t quit, you can mostly find her hunched over her Cintiq painting spicy fantasy ladies for private clients and indie publishers, with a cat or two in the vicinity.

OthalaM appears at Space Between Fan Event 2026 as her first-ever appearance in the United States!

Joe Pekar is a comic book creator, cover artist, and former video game animator. He’s been creating his own comics through Kickstarter for a number of years, including titles such as Redd Velvette, Brandi Bare, Dungeon's Misfortunes, and more. He’s also had a pin-up book of his art published by SQP, and has drawn a variety of covers for Space Between/Cheeky Comics! (Also, he's a really, really big K-pop fan, that he will try to work into any conversation...like this.)

Co-create One of Our Comics WITH US in Our Writer's Room!

During the event, we will host two short Writer's Rooms. Ahead of the event, we will contact all attendees to get a head count of all interested in participating in a Writer's Room.

The Writer's Rooms will include plotting sessions for Cheeky Comics Annual 2027 as well as a Space Between Entertainment one-shot. Fans will collaborate with Space Between creators to pick the focus characters for these comics. Together, we will plot these stories! Participating attendees will receive STORY BY credit on each of these comics.
